- Facial.Cupping
- Dear readers, I am general practitioner living in Spain. French medical formation, I am interested in alternative medicine and cupping. This blog is for presenting two books on cupping facial, but also doing a physiology supplement on cupping and alternative therapies. For the moment, two books on Amazon: LYMPHATIC FACIAL CUPPING : it's for beginners or for trainers. It is a practical tool for their basic courses. INTEGRATIVE FACIAL CUPPING: To go further, to deepen the knowledge. Lymphatic drainage + facelift + puffiness eyes, face. I will be happy to hear your opinion on the books (print quality, new ideas). The good and the bad.

OPENING OF LYMPHATIC CAPILLARIES AND SUCTION CUPS
ENGLISH VERSION
In the basic state, lymphatics are usually unopened. This is the case for small capillaries just below the skin. The suction cup by its suction effect will allow:
- to make a skin dome and to raise the anatomical structures underlying the skin.
- to open the capillary lymphatics which are very attached to the interstitial matrix of the subcutaneous tissue.
This can be done by anchoring filaments from endothelial cells attached to the collagenous tissue.

THE TRIGEMINAL NERVE : THE ARCHITECT OF THE FACE (english - french version)
THE TRIGEMINAL NERVE : THE ARCHITECT OF THE FACE
ENGLISH VERSION

Introduction
It has been known for over 100 years (Dr. GL Streeter's 1908 article), the
cranial nerves are already present very early in the evolution of the embryo. The
trigeminal nerve has a special place because it is one of the largest cranial
nerve and it closely follows the formation of the face and it is the nerve of
orofacial pain.
The trigeminal nerve: the architect of the face
We know the
trigeminal nerve (V): the sensory nerve of the face. Indeed, it is divided into
three main branches (see previous articles on this blog or anatomical website).
The three
main branches are the ophthalmic nerve, the maxillary nerve and the mandibular
nerve.
It is also
the nerve of the sensitivity of the neck, because of these many connections and
anastomoses (C2 – C3 Vertebra).
What is less known: it is a nerve present very early in the life of the
embryo, ie from the 5th week of intrauterine life.
We can say that it closely follows the "molding" of the face.
Indeed, before its formation, the outline of the face is made by
three prominences (forming the three principal stages of the face).
- The frontonasal prominence,
- The maxillary prominence,
- The mandibular prominence.

Conclusion
This short article to raise the importance of the trigeminal nerve both from the point of view of the sensitivity of the face, but also its significant extension (face and neck) from the beginning.
It is easy to see that it is a key nerve of the face with many anastomoses in the mature human being.

Brief conclusion for cupping
When we stimulate the face with cupping or massage, we stimulate different fibers connected to the trigeminal nerve.
A global massage is not negligible in order to make a sensory "summation" effect of inhibiting interneurons. We also understand some practices for the child's facial massage, and some practices of guasha.

The trigeminal nerve is a structure developed in children that must be taken into account.
Indeed, these interneurons will inhibit the sensitive fibers of the pain (fibers C and A delta).

FRENCH VERSION
LE NERF TRIJUMEAU : ARCHITECTE DE LA FACE
introduction
